Luminous Power Technologies has launched PIXEL, an ultra-compact inverter designed for modern Indian households, combining lithium-ion compatibility, advanced charging technologies and a compact design. The inverter has a footprint up to 40 percent smaller than conventional models and is available in four colour options.

The company said that PIXEL has been developed to deliver high power density and efficient performance within a smaller form factor. Its heatsink-free architecture enables the compact design, while its proprietary technologies are aimed at improving charging efficiency, battery life and performance under varying voltage conditions.

PIXEL supports both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries, offering consumers flexibility in selecting battery technology. It also features smart low-voltage charging technology that automatically adjusts to power fluctuations and provides 20 percent faster charging for quicker backup recovery. The inverter is designed for silent operation and comes in Matte Blue, Deep Teal, Subtle Beige and Royal Maroon.

Commenting on the launch, Vivek Abrol, CEO and Managing Director, Luminous Power Technologies, said that lithium-ion technology would play a key role in the future of home energy solutions. He said  that the company was investing in technologies and capabilities to develop next-generation energy products, with PIXEL bringing lithium-ion compatibility into a compact inverter.

Neelima Burra, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, Luminous Power Technologies, said that the product was developed in response to changing consumer expectations for energy solutions that combine performance, technology and design. She said that  its smaller footprint and four colour options were intended to address the requirements of contemporary homes without compromising on performance.

Ganesh Moorthi, Chief Technology Officer, Luminous Power Technologies, said that the company had re-engineered the inverter architecture to achieve higher power density in a compact design. He added that its efficiency technologies, silent operation and lithium-ion compatibility made it suitable for evolving household energy requirements.

The launch marks another addition to Luminous Power Technologies' home energy solutions portfolio, as the company expands its focus on compact and technologically advanced power backup products.
