Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has secured multiple engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and India.

In Saudi Arabia, the company has won contracts in the 380 kV transmission and substation segments. The projects are aimed at increasing transmission capacity and supporting the evacuation of renewable power, thereby strengthening the kingdom’s electricity grid.

In the UAE, L&T has secured an order for the construction of 132/11 kV substations, along with associated cabling works.

In India, the company has received an order from a private-sector developer to establish a transmission system in Visakhapatnam. The project includes transmission lines and substations.

Joji Sebastian, Executive Vice President and Head of PT&D at L&T, said that the orders demonstrate the business’s engineering and project execution capabilities across different geographies. He added that the company is leveraging its technology, execution expertise and global presence amid growing demand for grid strengthening and renewable energy integration.

L&T’s PT&D business provides EPC services for transmission and distribution infrastructure, including transmission lines, substations, underground cable networks, distribution systems and power quality projects.

The latest orders add to L&T’s power infrastructure portfolio across key markets and support grid expansion and renewable energy integration.
