LONGi has announced its strategic partnership with the Global Solar Council (GSC), the unified voice and the preeminent representative of the international solar industry. This collaboration aims to amplify LONGi's commitment to driving the global energy transition and supporting the widespread adoption of solar power.

GSC, established at COP 21 in 2015, unites stakeholders across the solar value chain, from manufacturing to project development. Representing the industry at key international forums, GSC advocates for policies and strategies that foster the growth of solar photovoltaic energy and accelerate the global energy transition.

Through this partnership, LONGi will amplify its influence on the global stage, working in concert with GSC's extensive network of industry associations, corporations, and NGOs. This strategic alliance will facilitate the resolution of industry challenges and support the expansion of solar energy deployment.

LONGi's partnership with GSC will focus on policy and advocacy, standard setting, and network building. The company will leverage its expertise and GSC's global platform to advocate for national and global policies that ensure the long-term success of the solar PV industry. Additionally, LONGi will participate in shaping best practices and standards and sharing insights through reports, policy papers, and workshops.

"At LONGi, we are committed to making solar energy a cornerstone of the global energy mix," said Leon Zhang, President of LONGi Europe. "Our partnership with Global Solar Council signifies a leap forward in our mission to champion a sustainable future. Together, we will advocate for policies that empower the solar industry and contribute to a greener, more resilient planet," Zhang added.

LONGi's membership with GSC will open avenues for new market access and business partnerships, reinforcing the company's mission to extend its global reach and solidify its role as a pivotal actor in the solar industry.
