Lineage Power Bags INR 488.46 Cr BESS Order for NTPC’s Barh STPP

Pace Digitek’s Material Subsidiary, Lineage Power (LPPL), has secured an order valued at INR 4,884.6 million (including GST) from NTPC GE Power Services (NGSL) for the BESS Project at Barh STPP (NTPC Stages 1 and 2). 

The order comprises the supply, testing, supervision of erection and commissioning of BESS containers, together with Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS). The order also includes five years of Annual Maintenance Services (AMC) and a further seven-year extended warranty for the battery containers, providing lifecycle support for the deployed systems. 

The order is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2026. 

Pace Digitek has operationalised 2.5 GWh of BESS manufacturing capacity in 2025, expanded this to 5 GWh, and plans to further scale capacity towards 10 GWh by Q3 FY2027. The company has delivered BESS containers representing more than 1.5 GWh of capacity to date. 

As the company expands its participation across the BESS value chain, it is focused on strengthening localisation, integration and service capabilities, while enhancing its ability to serve a broader range of customer requirements. This is expected to support deeper customer engagement and a more diversified Energy business over time.
