LEAPTING has announced its first collaboration with Waaree Renewable Technologies. As part of the engagement, the company will deploy over 2,000 PV module cleaning robots across Waaree’s three utility-scale solar projects in Rajasthan, covering a cumulative installed capacity of about 1.2 GWp on 2P fixed-tilt structures.

The partnership underscores LEAPTING’s growing footprint in utility-scale solar automation and reinforces its focus on improving plant uptime, optimising soiling management, and delivering reliable service support for large solar assets, the company stated.

The LEAPTING G1 Automatic Solar Module Cleaning Robots, to be deployed in the projects, are designed for large solar installations and align well with India’s on-ground operating conditions. It delivers fully automatic, unmanned cleaning, reducing dependence on manual labour, while its water-free dry-cleaning technology supports sustainability and conserves scarce water resources, the company stated.

Optimised for tracker-based solar plants, the system ensures smooth, reliable movement across arrays and offers high cleaning efficiency to help maintain consistent plant performance through the year. With low operating and maintenance costs, it strengthens overall project economics, and its proven reliability in dusty, high-temperature environments makes it particularly suited to challenging climatic conditions, it added.

“At LEAPTING, we believe long-term partnerships are built on trust, performance, and service excellence. We look forward to working closely with Waaree Renewables and ensuring a sustainable, high-performing collaboration through best-in-class technology and support,” the company stated.

Last month, LEAPTING announced signing an intelligent equipment supply agreement with the Adani Group to provide Automatic G1 Cleaning Robots and integrated smart cleaning service systems for 2 GW photovoltaic projects in India.

In December 2025, the company also secured an order to deploy solar cleaning robots from ReNew Power for more than 1 GW of solar projects. The order covered two utility-scale solar projects – the 609 MWp/435 MWac solar project in Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh and the 420 MWp/300 MWac solar project in Bhadla, Rajasthan.
