Lauritz Knudsen Unveils Over 10 Advanced Energy, Automation Solutions for India

Lauritz Knudsen showcased over 300 products across switchgear, solar, EV charging, automation, and smart home technologies, while expanding its reach into Tier-2 and Tier-3 industrial hubs through a 100-city technology initiative.

Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation has launched more than 10 next-generation energy management and automation solutions as part of its largest-ever technology showcase, reinforcing its focus on powering India’s industrial and energy transition.

The company showcased over 300 products and innovations spanning low-voltage switchgear, digital platforms, smart home technologies, EV charging, solar solutions, and industrial automation systems during an event in Mumbai attended by more than 1,000 customers, consultants, partners, and industry stakeholders.

The showcase comes amid rising demand for resilient and reliable energy infrastructure across industries, utilities, buildings, and agriculture. Lauritz Knudsen said that its latest portfolio is designed to support uninterrupted, efficient, and sustainable operations under its “Powering a Non-Stop India” vision.

Deepak Sharma said that  India’s growth depends on building intelligent and future-ready energy infrastructure, adding that the company is focused on delivering globally benchmarked technologies tailored for Indian requirements.

Naresh Kumar said that the company’s approach is centered on 'designing and building for India,' with technologies aimed at improving industrial efficiency, enabling remote operations, and expanding access to advanced electrical systems.

Among the key launches was the OMEGA UZ Air Circuit Breaker, featuring intelligent health monitoring, adaptive energy reduction, embedded diagnostics, and communication protocols including MODBUS TCP/IP and IEC 61850. The breaker offers a breaking capacity of up to 150 kA and integrated Class 1 energy metering.

The company also introduced the EXORA.N modular distribution board system with more than 30 configurations for residential, commercial, and infrastructure applications, alongside TMZ, a real-time temperature monitoring solution for electrical switchboards that enables predictive maintenance and fault prevention.

Lauritz Knudsen expanded its protection relay portfolio with the numrAL series of numerical relays for feeder, motor, and voltage protection applications, aimed at improving fault detection and coordinated power system protection.

In the renewable energy segment, the company showcased Made-in-India solar string inverters with advanced MPPT technology, remote monitoring capabilities, and a 10-year warranty. It also highlighted a new DC power protection portfolio designed for renewable energy, energy storage, electrification, and green hydrogen applications.

The EV charging portfolio includes AC and DC chargers integrated with a charging management platform and mobile application for residential, commercial, and industrial use cases.

Under automation and digitalization, the company introduced the iMMR Intelligent Motor Management Relay for predictive maintenance and motor protection, as well as the SMARTCOMM Digital Twin platform that creates a real-time digital replica of switchboards for diagnostics and simulation.

Lauritz Knudsen also showcased its agriculture automation solutions, integrating irrigation, fertigation, pump automation, sensors, and cloud-based monitoring to support data-driven farming practices.

In the smart home segment, the company launched enConnect Home Automation, a wireless Wi-Fi-enabled platform allowing users to control lighting, fans, air conditioners, and curtains through mobile apps, touch controls, and voice commands without rewiring requirements.

The company further announced plans to expand its reach into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities through a 100+ city Technology Day initiative aimed at accelerating adoption of advanced electrical and automation technologies across emerging industrial clusters in India.

With over 70 years of engineering heritage and exports to more than 30 countries, Lauritz Knudsen said that it will continue strengthening its Make-in-India manufacturing and digital technology capabilities to support India’s energy and industrial transformation.
