Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a firm specialising in India’s electrical and automation sector, has launched its largest-ever product portfolio aimed at supporting the country’s rapidly expanding industrial corridors and manufacturing hubs.
The announcement comes as part of a nationwide campaign spanning 30 industrial cities, designed to engage stakeholders and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies that align with the government’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
The company’s latest offerings focus on driving India’s transition toward a smarter, cleaner, and future-ready energy ecosystem. With a strong emphasis on low-voltage solutions, industrial automation, and clean energy technologies, Lauritz Knudsen’s expanded portfolio is designed to modernize India’s industrial backbone.
At a media briefing, Naresh Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, said, “Our goal is to empower businesses to operate safer, faster, and smarter. This portfolio isn’t just about products, it’s about solutions tailored to India’s unique industrial needs. Whether it’s automating a rice mill in Raipur, powering textile units in Coimbatore, or upgrading plants in Pune, our technologies are designed to drive real impact.”
Kumar highlighted the scale of India’s transformation, noting that the electrical equipment sector is projected to grow by over USD 95 billion by 2029, while the industrial automation sector is expected to touch USD 39.65 billion by 2033. “Indian manufacturers are already investing nearly 35% of their operational budgets in modernization, far exceeding global averages. This isn’t just growth; it’s a movement toward a future-ready, energy-smart India,” he said.
The newly launched portfolio includes a comprehensive EV charging ecosystem comprising EV chargers, a centralised charge management system, and cloud-based customer applications. These are aimed at supporting India’s transition to electric mobility with intelligent energy distribution and seamless digital interfaces.
The company also introduced an advanced digital power distribution architecture, featuring next-generation air circuit breakers and high-performance molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs). These are designed for enhanced switching, protection, and smooth integration into digital infrastructure.
Further strengthening its automation lineup, Lauritz Knudsen launched a suite of industrial automation solutions, including variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs). All are powered by Smartcomm, an IoT-enabled software suite designed to improve efficiency in discrete and process automation.
The portfolio is rounded out with smart numerical protection relays offering advanced protection, control, and communication for both low- and medium-voltage systems.
Lauritz Knudsen emphasized that its latest range is developed with a deep understanding of India’s regional diversity, sectoral demands, and state-level policies. As part of its ambitious outreach, the company will conduct roadshows and product demonstrations across key industrial cities including Pune, Noida, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore, and Guwahati, among others.
“Our approach is not just to sell products but to act as a partner in India’s sustainable and inclusive growth story,” Kumar added. The company’s engagement plan includes collaborations with industry leaders, system integrators, engineers, contractors, and policymakers to showcase how its solutions contribute to national priorities like clean energy adoption, industrial modernisation, and agri-efficiency.
Its portfolio spans low- and medium-voltage switchgear, automation solutions, and tailored software, supported by in-house design and tooling facilities that meet global standards.
