Terra Motors, the Japanese electric vehicle manufacturer, is expanding its presence in India with the Kyoro electric three-wheeler, now available in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Priced at INR 3.65 lakh on-road, the Kyoro features an IP67-rated motor, a top speed of 55 km/h, and a 200 km range per charge, making it ideal for Indian roads.
Focusing on Telangana as a strategic hub under the state’s EV policy, Terra aims to strengthen its footprint across India, Southeast Asia, and Pakistan, complementing its operations in Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand. The move highlights Terra Motors’ commitment to scaling electric mobility solutions both nationally and globally.
The Telangana government’s announcement of 100 percent road tax and registration fee exemptions for EVs until December 2026 further boosts the market potential. The state has already recorded over 259,000 EV registrations, with 20,000 new permits for electric autorickshaws issued in Hyderabad.
The Kyoro e-auto delivers reliable performance with an 11.7 kWh battery, a 2-speed gearbox for easy hill climbing with 22 percent gradeability, and smooth acceleration. A full charge takes 4 hours, while low operating costs, a 5-year warranty, and zero down payment financing options make it appealing to customers.
“Kyoro is a durable and economical electric vehicle, perfectly aligned with Telangana’s green mobility goals. This is the ideal time for dealers to join the EV shift,” said Go Suzuki, Managing Director, Terra Motors.
Building on its successful partnerships in northern India, Terra is offering exclusive dealership territories across Hyderabad and other districts. With government support, proven vehicle performance, and low running costs, early dealers are positioned to capture a profitable slice of the growing EV market.
“As Telangana accelerates EV adoption, Kyoro provides a unique opportunity for dealers to enter a rapidly growing market. At Terra, we don’t just offer vehicle, we provide a platform for collaboration, feedback, and shared growth,” added Suzuki.
