Kshema Power Commissions Two In-House Batching Plants in Madhya Pradesh for WTG Foundation

Kshema Power has commissioned two in-house batching plants in Madhya Pradesh to ensure reliable concrete supply for wind turbine foundations and target completion of up to 10 foundations per month.

Kshema Power has announced that the company has commissioned two dedicated in-house batching plants in Madhya Pradesh to strengthen concrete supply for wind turbine foundation construction and improve project execution efficiency.

The facilities are aimed at ensuring an uninterrupted supply of high-quality concrete while reducing the company’s dependence on external suppliers. According to Kshema Power, sourcing concrete externally for projects in remote or geographically dispersed locations can create challenges related to supplier availability, transportation, supply consistency and quality, potentially affecting construction schedules.

The dedicated batching plants will enable Kshema Power to produce concrete closer to project sites and manage production in line with foundation construction schedules. The company will also have greater control over material handling, mix preparation, batching and quality monitoring.

The in-house setup is designed to support coordination across material procurement, production, transportation, manpower and equipment deployment, helping reduce the risk of interruptions and respond to changes in construction priorities.

Kshema Power expects the dedicated batching capability to accelerate wind turbine foundation construction by supporting uninterrupted casting operations. With the enhanced infrastructure, the company is targeting the completion of up to 10 wind turbine foundations per month.

Commenting on the development, V.N.
