KPI Green Energy’s subsidiary Sun Drops Energia has secured a 100 MW solar project from Avichal Power — marking the second consecutive order from the client.
The project, to be developed in Gujarat, is scheduled to be executed in phases, with completion expected by FY 2026-27.
This turnkey contract will be executed under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) model.
Sun Drops Energia will provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, supply advanced module mounting structures and balance-of-plant components, as well as carry out civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation works.
The company will also provide operations and maintenance services for the complete lifecycle of the project.
KPI clarified that the deal is with a domestic entity and does not involve any related-party transaction, and neither its promoters nor group companies have any stake in Avichal Power.
KPI Green Energy, the renewable vertical of KP Group, develops, builds, owns, operates and maintains solar and hybrid power plants as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and as service provider to Captive Power Producer (CPP) under the brand name of 'Solarism'.
The company reported a more than two-fold increase in consolidated net profit for Q4 FY25, reaching INR 104.18 crore, compared to INR 43.04 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s revenue surged nearly 97 percent, rising to INR 577.80 crore from INR 292.96 crore in Q4 FY24.
