KPI Green Energy Bags INR 2,025 Crore Solar EPC Order

KPI Green Energy Ltd. has received a work order worth approximately INR 2,025 crore from NACOF Oorja Pvt. Ltd. (NOPL), a subsidiary of NACOF, for a 500 MW (AC)/550 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract covers a solar PV plant forming part of the 5,000 MW (AC) Solar Park being developed by NOPL at Village Dantoor, Tehsil Khajuwala, District Bikaner, Rajasthan. 

Under the contract, KPI Green Energy will undertake the complete design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar power plant. The scope of work includes civil and electrical works, along with the supply and installation of PV modules, module mounting structures, inverters, inverter transformers, high-tension (HT) switchgear and associated electrical systems.

The project also includes a 33 kV transmission line and evacuation bay, along with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and monitoring systems, as specified in the work order.

The company is required to complete the EPC works within 12 months from the handing over of the project site through to commissioning. The work order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is classified as a turnkey EPC contract.

The latest order follows a 500 MW (AC)/550 MWp solar balance-of-system (BOS) package awarded to KPI Green Energy by NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. at Bikaner earlier in 2026, according to the company's announcement.

The new contract adds to the company's solar EPC order book and expands its project execution portfolio in Rajasthan. KPI Green Energy has stated that the order is expected to strengthen its EPC business and provide revenue visibility for the coming year.
