KPI Green Energy Bags 300 MWac EPC Order from Adani Group at Khavda

KPI Green Energy has secured fresh electrical, civil and allied works orders from Adani Group entities for a 300 MWac/405 MWdc solar project at Khavda Renewable Energy Park, Gujarat, taking its total contracted capacity at the park to 834 MWac/1,131 MWdc.

KPI Green Energy, a part of the KP Group, has announced that the company has received orders from Adani Group entities – Adani Green Energy and Adani Green Energy Six – for execution of electrical, civil and allied work for a 300 MWac/405 MWdc project at the Khavda Hybrid Renewable Power Project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, Gujarat.

The scope of work includes execution of electrical AC-DC works, civil works comprising pile foundation, installation of stubs, erection of module mounting structures, modules, robotic cleaning system structures and IDT stations, as well as supply of electrical DC/AC and HT equipment (other than main equipment), the company stated in a regulatory filing.

With receipt of these service orders and purchase order, the aggregate orders received by the company from Adani Group entities in relation to the Khavda projects now stand at 834 MWac/1,131 MWdc, including the 534 MWac/726 MWdc order the company bagged last month.

“These orders further reflect the company's continued engagement as a trusted execution partner for large-scale utility renewable energy projects and are aligned with its strategy to enhance its execution capabilities across marquee renewable energy developments. The execution will be carried out in a phased manner in accordance with the timelines stipulated under the respective service orders and purchase order,” it said.
