KPI Green Energy, a part of KP Group, has announced that its subsidiary Sun Drops Energia has received an international order from FVE Lifecare General Trading LLC, United Arab Emirates, for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 33 kWp Solar Power System integrated with a 573 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to power a containerised Data Centre facility.

“The receipt of this order reflects the company's expanding international presence beyond Indian territory and demonstrates its growing capability to enter newer growth segments. The project highlights the increasing relevance of integrated solar and/or wind and battery energy storage solutions in ensuring uninterrupted and efficient power supply for commercial and industrial applications, including Data Centres,” the company stated in a regulatory filing.

It further added that BESS projects are grid-connected or standalone energy storage facilities that enable energy storage during off-peak periods and discharge during peak demand-supporting grid stability, peak load management, and renewable energy integration. In addition, BESS plays a critical role in providing reliable backup power for mission-critical infrastructure such as data centres, ensuring uninterrupted operations during grid outages.

“With the rapid growth of data centres globally, which require highly reliable, customised, round-the-clock power solutions, this order underscores the company's capability to address the evolving energy needs of data centre operators through integrated renewable energy and energy storage solutions,” it said.

In October 2025, KP Group entered into an MoU with the F Plus Group to collaboratively develop and implement green energy-powered life sciences projects globally. Subsequently, the company received a letter of intent for a 600 MW Round-the-Clock (RTC) green power project, valued at approximately INR 1,050 crore, from FVE Lifecare General Trading.
