KP Group's Dr. Faruk Patel Leads Delegation to Saudi Arabia to Explore Expansion and RE Opportunities

Dr. Faruk G. Patel, Founder, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Indian renewable energy company KP Group, led a delegation to Saudi Arabia to explore opportunities for the group's expansion in the Kingdom and strengthen investment cooperation across the clean energy sector.

During the visit, Dr. Patel and his delegation met with Khaled Al Khattaf, CEO of the Saudi Authority for Investment Promotion, to discuss opportunities in renewable energy, green hydrogen, energy storage systems and related industries.

The discussions also covered investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia, the competitive advantages of its business environment, and prospects for localising industries and establishing manufacturing facilities to serve local and regional markets. Such initiatives could support the Kingdom's ambition to strengthen its position as a regional hub for energy and advanced industries and contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Separately, Ambassador Dr. Suhel Khan welcomed the Indian business delegation led by Dr. Patel and Zafar Sareshwala, Chief Advisor of Hilal ESG Ltd., during their visit to Saudi Arabia. The interaction highlighted the growing momentum in India Saudi Arabia economic ties and the potential for deeper business to business engagement and investment cooperation.

The visit underscores KP Group's efforts to explore international growth opportunities and expand its presence in emerging clean energy markets, with renewable energy, green hydrogen and energy storage emerging as key areas of potential cooperation.
