KP Group Signs MoU with PSSC to Foster Skill Development in Wind Projects
The agreement was signed between Dr. V.K. Singh, CEO, PSSC and Dr. Faruk G. Patel, founder and CMD of KP Group at KP House in Gujarat.

In a significant move towards skill development in wind power projects, renewable energy solutions provider KP Group has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Power Sector Skill Council (PSSC).
The agreement was signed between Dr. V.K. Singh, CEO, PSSC and Dr. Faruk G. Patel, founder and CMD of KP Group. The signing ceremony took place at the prestigious KP House in Surat, Gujarat, with the presence of all department heads from KP Group, as well as PSSC’s Nodal Officer, Ashwin Pandya, and State Coordinator, Harshida Pandya.
Founded in 1994, KP Group has been significantly contributing to India’s green energy transition. As of December 31, 2023, KPI Green has commissioned more than 380 MW projects.
PSSC has been promoted by the Ministry of Power (MoP) through Central Electricity Authority (CEA), the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA) with necessary support from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
Created with a mandate to facilitate skill development across the power industry covering power generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy and power equipment manufacturing, PSSC has been actively engaged in the task of delivering on the objectives with active support of industry stakeholders.
