KP Group has launched a new campaign titled ‘India Ka Asli Power Play’, using cricket to drive conversations around renewable energy adoption and sustainable development in India.
The campaign features Axar Patel, KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav and Ashutosh Sharma, connecting cricket strategy and momentum with India’s ongoing clean energy transition.
Through the initiative, KP Group positions renewable energy as the country’s 'real game changer', drawing parallels between cricket’s Power Play phase and India’s push toward solar, wind, hybrid energy and green hydrogen solutions. The campaign creatively places the sustainability message within the environment of the Delhi Capitals dressing room, aligning the discipline and precision of professional cricket with clean energy innovation.
According to the company, the campaign is part of broader efforts to strengthen its visibility in the renewable energy sector while engaging younger and sports-focused audiences through storytelling and celebrity partnerships. KP Group currently manages a renewable energy portfolio exceeding 8.5 GW.
Faruk G. Patel, Managing Director and Chairman of KP Group, said that the campaign reflects India’s crucial moment in energy transition, adding that solar, wind, hybrid technologies and green hydrogen represent the country’s 'Asli Power Play'.
The campaign is being rolled out across digital platforms including YouTube, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and Facebook as part of a digital-first outreach strategy aimed at increasing awareness around sustainability and clean energy adoption.
The initiative also reflects a growing trend of infrastructure and energy companies using sports partnerships and entertainment-led campaigns to build mainstream visibility and cultural relevance around sustainability-focused initiatives.
