KP Group has announced developments in the operational performance and technological capabilities of its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) verticals. The update, under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, highlights the company’s continued growth, innovation and commitment to long-term value creation.
The group’s O&M verticals are delivering robust performance, underpinned by a growing renewable energy portfolio. The company currently manages an installed capacity exceeding 1.9 GW across solar, wind and hybrid assets throughout India. An additional ~4 GW of renewable energy assets are under execution and set to be integrated into the portfolio, further cementing its leadership in renewable O&M services.
The expansion aligns with the group’s broader Independent Power Producer (IPP) strategy, leveraging its advanced in-house O&M platforms to ensure maximum asset performance and dependable, long-term cash flows. The portfolio reflects high reliability, effective predictive maintenance and consistent value delivery to stakeholders.
A major highlight in KP Group’s technology roadmap is its Centralised Network Operations (NOC) centre — an advanced, in-house developed hub that monitors and controls solar and wind assets in real time. Powered by IBM Maximo Renewables, the NOC offers real-time asset monitoring and diagnostics, 100 per cent compliance across 200+ O&M clients, AI-driven predictive analytics for maintenance and efficiency, automated reporting and real-time alerts for quick response and a proprietary Unified Data Access (UDA) platform for large-scale data tracking.
In parallel, the group’s R&D centre is pioneering innovations in asset reliability and operational optimisation. A standout achievement is the development of robotic solar panel cleaning systems, fully designed and manufactured by internal engineering teams. The key highlights include 730+ robots deployed across operational sites; over 1,000 units in production; patent application filed for proprietary robotic technology; endorsements from global tracker companies NEXTracker (USA) and Gamechanger (USA); ~98 per cent cleaning efficiency, capable of dry-cleaning 1 MW in under three hours and IoT-enabled systems reducing water use and improving sustainability.
To meet increasing domestic and global demand, KP Group has also commissioned a new manufacturing facility in Por, boosting monthly production capacity from 100 to 300 robots.
