KP Group Appoints Kapil Kriplani as Group Chief Financial Officer

KP Group has appointed Kapil Kriplani as Group Chief Financial Officer, effective August 11, 2026. He brings over 21 years of post-qualification experience across corporate finance, treasury, taxation and strategic transactions.

KP Group has announced the appointment of Kapil Kriplani as Group Chief Financial Officer with effect from August 11, 2026.

Kriplani is a seasoned finance professional with over 21 years of post-qualification experience in corporate finance, treasury, taxation, capital markets, strategic transactions, financial structuring and business transformation, KP Group stated in a regulatory filing.

He has held senior leadership positions with organisations including Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Bhartiya International, Reliance Capital, ACME Solar and Vedanta Resources.

Most recently, he has worked as Senior Vice President - Finance & Global Head Treasury and Taxation at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he led global treasury and taxation functions, including fund management, capital allocation, working capital, foreign exchange, borrowings, tax structuring and regulatory matters.

Kriplani has extensive experience in executing complex and innovative financing and strategic transactions, including large project financings, ECBS, bond issuances, sustainability-linked financing and business demerger and divestment transactions, stated KP Group.

He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from MDS University, Ajmer.
