KP Group, a renewable energy firm specialising in solar, wind, hybrid, and green hydrogen infrastructure, has successfully concluded an 11-month executive leadership programme in partnership with the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA).

A total of 28 future leaders, identified as the organisation’s second line of leadership, graduated during the convocation, marking a landmark milestone in corporate leadership development at India’s premier management institute.

The programme combined IIMA’s academic rigour with real-time strategic assignments across KP Group’s businesses. Participants engaged in intensive modules covering strategy, governance, operations, decision-making, and cross-functional leadership, concluding with project work tied to live organisational challenges.

Dr. Faruk G. Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of KP Group, described the programme as a defining moment in the organisation’s growth journey. He highlighted that this collaboration underscores KP Group’s commitment to nurturing leaders capable of steering the company’s next phase of expansion.

“While this cohort concludes today, the learning culture at KP Group continues. IIM Ahmedabad faculty will conduct quarterly sessions within our organisation to keep teams updated on strategies and skills for a rapidly evolving sector,” Dr. Patel added.

Prof. Sunil Maheshwari, Dean of IIMA, praised the partnership, noting that the cohort’s engagement and application of learning were inspiring. Prof. Sanjay Verma, Programme Chair, commended the participants’ dedication and eagerness to grow.

Graduates shared that the programme fulfilled long-held aspirations to study at IIMA, enhancing their strategic thinking, decision-making, and collaborative abilities.

With India’s renewable energy sector expanding rapidly, KP Group’s structured leadership development model positions the organisation to lead with capability, agility, and innovation. By embedding world-class academic frameworks into corporate learning, KP Group is creating a future-ready leadership pipeline across its solar, wind, hybrid, and green hydrogen ventures.

The initiative is emerging as a reference model for energy and infrastructure companies across India seeking long-duration, university-led leadership development programmes.
