KP Group Advances Saudi RE Partnership, Facilitates Saudi Delegation’s Meeting with Maharashtra CM

KP Group has advanced its Saudi renewable energy collaboration by facilitating a meeting between a Saudi delegation and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, following CMD Faruk G. Patel’s recent Riyadh visit to explore investment opportunities in renewable energy, green hydrogen and energy storage.

KP Group has taken forward its renewable energy collaboration with Saudi partners by facilitating a meeting between a Saudi delegation and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. This follows KP Group CMD Faruk G. Patel’s Riyadh visit last month to explore expansion and investment opportunities in renewable energy, green hydrogen and energy storage.

The Saudi delegation that met the Maharashtra CM included Riyaadh Al-Zamil, Chairman of the Board, Raz Holding Group; Abdulqader Al-Mashhour, Advisor; Dr. Badr Al-Subaihi, Advisor and Chief Executive Officer, Siad Al; and Rakan Alabdali, Chairman’s Office Manager and Visit Coordinator.

Patel stated that the engagement explored potential areas of collaboration between KP Group and Saudi partners, including opportunities for the Government of Maharashtra to participate in and support prospective renewable energy investments arising from the partnership.

KP Group already has a presence in Maharashtra, including its 100 MW MAHAGENCO project, with several additional renewable energy opportunities being explored in the state.

Expressing confidence in the potential of the partnership, Patel said, “With the right collaboration between industry, governments and international partners, we can create meaningful investments and accelerate the transition towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.”
