The company, which provides balance of plant solutions for utility scale wind and wind solar hybrid projects, reported a total renewable energy portfolio of 3.73 GW as of June 30, 2026. This included 1.57 GW of installed capacity and 2.16 GW of projects in hand.
KP Energy's operations and maintenance portfolio stood at 646 MW, while its operational independent power producer assets totalled 48.5 MW, with another 202 MW of IPP projects in hand.
The company provides services across wind resource assessment, land aggregation, site preparation, engineering, construction and erection, power evacuation, statutory approvals, commissioning and operations and maintenance for wind and hybrid renewable energy projects.
KP Energy is also expanding its capabilities in larger wind turbines. The company said that it was the first in India to install a domestically manufactured 4.2 MW turbine in South Gujarat, while installation of a 5.3 MW turbine is currently underway.
Its wind resource assessment capabilities include more than 45 wind masts, LiDAR technology, wind mapping software and an in house team specialising in wind and land resources.
