KP Energy Commissions 50.4 MW of Vanki Wind Project in Gujarat for NTPC Renewable Energy
KP Energy has declared commercial operations for the first 50.4 MW of the Vanki Wind Power Project in Gujarat, developed for NTPC Renewable Energy.

KP Energy, a part of KP Group, has announced that the company has successfully commissioned the first part capacity of 50.4 MW of the Vanki Wind Power Project in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat, for NTPC Renewable Energy.
The project comprises 16 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) of Suzlon make, each having a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, stated the company in a regulatory filing.
“The above WTGs have achieved the Commercial Operation Date (COD) and have been declared commissioned with effect from 00:00 hours on July 8, 2026. This milestone reinforces the company’s position as one of India’s leading wind energy EPC and O&M solutions providers and reflects its unwavering commitment to accelerating India’s renewable energy growth story,” stated KP Energy.
With the addition of this project, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) Group has increased to 10,721.80 MW, stated the company in a regulatory filing. By 2032, NTPC Group plans to have 60 GW of capacity through RE sources, constituting nearly 45 percent of its overall power generation capacity
