Kosol Energie Expands Solar Module Capacity to 2.25 GW with Innovative Offerings

The company added a new 1 GW production line, slated to commence production of cutting-edge TOPCon solar modules by the end of December. These modules will feature power outputs ranging from 580 Wp to 715 Wp and come in both mono-facial and bifacial variants.
The expansion is not just about quantity but also innovation. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art dual glass module manufacturing technology and updated testing equipment, ensuring compliance with the latest IEC & UL standards, according to a company spokesperson.
At the recent REI Expo 2023, Kosol Energie unveiled its SUN Mono series mono PERC modules, showcasing their ground-breaking non-destructive cutting technology. These panels boast peak outputs of up to 570 Wp and are available in both mono-facial and bifacial versions. Notably, they have received BIS Approval, marking a significant milestone in this segment. Their impressive efficiency, exceeding 22%, is expected to secure them a coveted 5-Star BEE rating.
Kosol Energie's commitment to offering versatile solutions extends to residential and commercial rooftop projects. The company introduced 410 Wp modules for residential rooftops, measuring 1,723 mm × 1,134 mm and weighing approximately 20.5 kg.
Additionally, they unveiled 460 Wp modules designed for commercial rooftop applications, with dimensions of 1,912 mm × 1,134 mm and a weight of around 23.7 kg. Both of these modules are available in both mono-facial and bifacial versions, making them highly adaptable for various solar applications.
Furthermore, the company emphasized that both of these new panel lines are well-suited for solar pump solutions, showcasing Kosol Energie's dedication to providing efficient and eco-friendly energy solutions.
