KLK Ventures Secures PM-DevINE Solar Electrification Project in Arunachal Pradesh

KLK Ventures will install 3,478 solar home lighting systems across 377 remote and border villages in Arunachal Pradesh under the PM-DevINE scheme, supporting off-grid electrification and rural energy access.

KLK Ventures has been awarded a partial Letter of Award for the project titled “Design, Manufacturing, Supply and Installation of Solar Home Lights at various locations for Off Grid Electrification of Vibrant Border Villages and Left Out Villages under RDSS in Arunachal Pradesh on turnkey basis under Prime Minister’s Development Initiative for North Eastern Region (PM-DevINE) Scheme including Annual Maintenance Contract and Warranty/Guarantee for 5 Years.

The project marks an important milestone in advancing sustainable energy access across remote and border regions of Arunachal Pradesh. KLK Ventures considers this award a strong endorsement of its expertise in renewable energy infrastructure and its capability to execute projects in geographically challenging locations while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Under the scope of the project, KLK Ventures will undertake the design, manufacturing, supply and installation of solar home lighting systems across multiple districts in Arunachal Pradesh. The initiative is aimed at supporting off-grid electrification in vibrant border villages and other left-out habitations under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). In addition to deployment of the systems, the company will also provide annual maintenance support along with warranty and guarantee services for a period of five years to ensure long-term operational efficiency and sustainability.

The project covers 377 villages and habitations across districts including Anjaw, Dibang Valley, East Kameng, East Siang, Kra Daadi, Lohit, Longding, Lower Subansiri, Namsai, Pakke Kessang, Siang, Tawang, Tirap, Upper Siang, Upper Subansiri and West Kameng. A total of 3,478 solar home lighting systems are planned to be installed under the initiative, bringing reliable and clean energy access to households in remote communities.
