KEC International Secures INR 1,150 Crore Orders in T&D and Civil Segment in India
KEC International, an RPG Group company, has announced that the company has bagged fresh domestic orders worth INR 1,150 crore across transmission and distribution and civil segments, including its largest-ever 765 kV T&D contract for evacuation of renewable energy from a private developer in India.

The India T&D business has secured its largest-ever order from a reputed private player for a 765 kV transmission line and a 765/400 kV AIS substation on LSTK basis, the company said in a statement. In the civil business, it has secured an order for additional civil and structural works for a 150 MW thermal power plant from a prominent private player.
Commenting on the development, Vimal Kejriwal, MD and CEO, KEC International, said, “We are delighted with these order wins in India, particularly the significant composite order secured by our India T&D business for the evacuation of renewable energy. This order has substantially increased the share of private sector clients in our India T&D order book. The Civil business has increased its presence in the growing thermal power plant segment.”
He further added, “With these wins, our YTD order intake has crossed INR 18,000 crore, reaffirming our confidence in achieving our annual order intake target.”
KEC International has a presence in the verticals of power transmission and distribution, civil, railways, urban infrastructure, renewables, oil and gas pipelines, and cables. The company is currently executing infrastructure projects in over 30 countries and has a footprint in over 110 countries (including EPC, supply of towers and cables).
