KEC International Bags Rs 1,192 Cr New Orders Across Biz Verticals
Despite global uncertainties, KEC International Ltd, an RPG Group Company, has secured new orders worth Rs 1,192 crore across its various business segments including transmission & distribution (T&D), urban infrastructure, civil and cables.

Despite global uncertainties, KEC International Ltd, an RPG Group Company, has secured new orders worth Rs 1,192 crore across its various business segments including transmission & distribution (T&D), urban infrastructure, civil and cables.
The global infrastructure engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) major said that its T&D business and SAE Towers have secured orders of about Rs 821 crore for T&D projects in India, SAARC, Malaysia, Africa and the Americas.
The Maharashtra headquartered company has presence in the verticals of power transmission and distribution, Railways, Civil, Solar, Smart Infrastructure and Cables. It is currently executing infrastructure projects in more than 30 countries and has a footprint in 100+ countries including EPC & Supply.
Besides, the Urban Infrastructure business segment of the company has secured an order of Rs 146 crore from Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) for the construction of viaduct along with station for the Phase 1 extension of Kochi metro rail project in India.
Additionally, the civil business of the KEC has secured an order worth Rs 57 crore for infrastructure works in the warehouse space in India.
Moreover, it’s cables business has won orders of about Rs 168 crore for various types of cables/ cabling projects in India.

Meanwhile, scrips of the company were trading at Rs 272.85 apiece, up 1.98 per cent, from the previous close on the exchange at 10:05 a.m on Tuesday.
