Kalpataru Power Transmission Bags New Orders worth Rs 4,474 Cr from India and International Markets

Global EPC player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) has secured new orders aggregating Rs 4,474 crore from the Indian and overseas markets.

Global EPC player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) has secured new orders aggregating Rs 4,474 crore from the Indian and overseas markets.

The company along with its subsidiary JMC Projects (India) Ltd (JMC) has secured orders from the power transmission, oil & gas pipeline, water supply, and B&F sectors.

KPTL has bagged orders from both India and international markets in the power transmission business worth Rs 1,957 crore including orders worth approx. Rs 500 crore was received in the month of March this year.

Besides, it has received Oil & Gas pipeline projects worth Rs 169 crore both in India and the Middle East region.

Additionally, the company’s EPC arm JMC has won water supply projects in India worth Rs 2,193 crore, along with B&F projects worth Rs 155 crore received in March this year, from South India.

Commenting on winning new orders, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO of Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd said “we are extremely pleased to report new order wins in our T&D, Water and Oil & Gas business. These new orders will help us to strengthen our market position in high growth businesses, as we further diversify our clientele and penetrate into newer markets.”

He further mentioned “we are particularly pleased with our Oil & Gas business, as they have secured their first international EPC order for laying gas pipeline in the Middle East. Significant value of these new orders have price variation clause, which protects our margins to a large extent given the volatility in commodity prices.”

Mohnot further said, “these order wins, along with our well diversified consolidated order book gives us confidence to deliver good performance for the current financial year.”
