Kalpataru Power Transmission Bags New Orders worth Rs 1,300 Cr from India and Overseas Market

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector, has secured various new orders aggregating about Rs 1,300 crore from the Indian and overseas markets.

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector, has secured various new orders aggregating about Rs 1,300 crore from the Indian and overseas markets.

The company’s Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business has bagged orders both from India as well as from overseas market.

Moreover, it has won new engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) orders for pipeline laying and associated works in India.

Additionally, an order for railway electrification has been secured by KPTL from Central Organization for Railway Electrification (CORE).

Besides, the company’s international subsidiary has bagged new T&D projects in Europe.

Commenting on winning the new orders, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO of KPTL said that “we are delighted with the new order wins in all our businesses. Our current year order inflow is in excess of Rs 4,500 crore and we are favourably placed in projects of over Rs 3,000 crore. We continue to be on track to achieve order inflows in the range of Rs 9,000-10,000 crore for the current financial year.”

He further added “we continue to focus on expanding our international operations in all our business verticals for KTPL and JMC. The process of divestment of T&D assets is also on track and we expect to be net debt free in 2021.”

Buoyed by the order win, scrips of the company were trading at Rs 317.95 apiece, up 0.86 per cent, from the previous close on the exchange at 13:17 hours.
