Kalpa Power has signed an agreement with WattPower Systems for the supply of 100 MW of solar inverters for its upcoming ground-mounted solar power projects across multiple locations.
The agreement is aimed at ensuring the timely availability of inverter equipment to support project execution and maintain development timelines. Solar inverters are a critical component of solar power plants, influencing generation efficiency, power quality and overall plant performance.
Kalpa Power stated that the partnership will support the execution of its upcoming projects through dependable technology and timely equipment delivery. The collaboration is also expected to help streamline project implementation and ensure consistent plant performance over its operational life.
For Kalpa Power, the agreement marks another step towards building a comprehensive energy management company by strengthening its project development capabilities and partnerships with technology providers focused on execution and long-term performance.
Recently, WattPower has secured a 1 GW solar inverter supply order from ReNew, covering its 330KTL string inverters and WP-506KTL grid-forming inverters, with deliveries scheduled for FY 2027-28. The company has announced an agreement with Niva Ecotech for the supply of solar inverters to support utility-scale projects.
