Kalpa Power has announced that the company has secured a 286 MWp utility-scale solar project in Madhya Pradesh.
The project comes at a time when the state’s renewable energy capacity has grown nearly 25-fold in 12 years, from 438 MW to over 11,000 MW, highlighting the scale of renewable energy development taking place across Madhya Pradesh, the company stated.
It further added, “For Kalpa Power, the project adds to our growing utility-scale portfolio and reinforces our focus on delivering large-scale renewable energy projects across India.”
Earlier this month, the company announced that it is developing a 100 MW open access solar park with EHV connectivity at Mukhed, Nanded, Maharashtra.
In June 2026, Kalpa Power announced its entry into Rajasthan with a 15 MW AC (18.5 MWp DC) open access hybrid solar power project with 1.5 MWh battery energy storage for Wonder Cement at Guwali in Pratapgarh district.
In May 2026, Kalpa Power inaugurated its 70 MWp Open Access Solar Park 6 in Risod, Maharashtra, developed to supply clean energy to multiple commercial and industrial consumers.
The company has executed over 300 projects with a cumulative capacity exceeding 490 MWp and has set a target of achieving 5 GW of renewable capacity by 2030.
