German solar inverter manufacturer KACO new energy GmbH is planning to launch the ‘blueplanet 60.0 TL3’ with an aim to make it easier for commercial and industrial (C&I) enterprises to decide in favor of a sustainable energy supply with solar power.

The inverter further offers 20 per cent more power as compared to its predecessor as well as numerous practical features for increased system safety and cost-effectiveness.

The company also claimed that, it will eliminate the need to purchase additional hardware, and will significantly reduced the investment costs for the installation of solar PV systems and the return on investment will be optimized.

The new model ‘blueplanet 60.0 TL3’ will be the successor of ‘blueplanet 50.0 TL3’. The housing dimensions and connection technology as well as the efficient topology of the predecessor have remained the same, but the output of the new inverter has been increased by 20 per cent.

The new model will be useful in the construction of C&I PV plants as well as ground-mounted solar parks, as the plants can be designed with fewer inverters, which reduce the transport volume, and they can be installed, wired and connected more quickly.

Besides, the blueplanet 60.0 TL3 has an overload capacity of 50 per cent on the DC side. This allows more solar modules to be connected to the inverters. The available space for the module field can thus be optimally utilized.

Moreover, it has been designed for high DC currents up to 190 amps.

Commenting on the new model, Nedret Ünlü, Head of Sales at KACO new energy, said “when we launched the blueplanet 50.0 TL3 in 2016, we struck a nerve with its attractive price-performance ratio. In the meantime, it has been installed in projects with around three gigawatts of power worldwide. With the blueplanet 60.0 TL3, we are now delivering reliable technology and exceptional flexibility at an even lower price per watt. It is another milestone in providing companies with a sustainable and CO2-neutral energy supply at low investment costs.”

“The blueplanet 60.0 TL3 is the chameleon among inverters, adapting to new conditions via software updates and retrofittable equipment, even during operation,” Nedret Ünlü added.

The company also offers matching peripheral equipment for the blueplanet 60.0 TL3.
