K P Energy Starts Off 29 MW Wind Energy Project in Gujarat

The capacity is a part of the 250.8 MW ISTS-connected wind power project capacity by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under Tranche-VIII tendering.

K P Energy Ltd has declared the commencement of a 29.4 MW wind energy project in Gujarat.

The capacity is a part of the 250.8 MW ISTS-connected wind power project capacity bagged by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under Tranche-VIII tendering.

Under the present phase II, executing the overall cumulative capacity stands at 81.9 MW.

The official stated, "In furtherance of phase I at Sidhpur, KP Energy has successfully commissioned 29.4 MW (phase-II) ISTS (inter-state transmission system) connected wind power project comprising 14 numbers of WTGs (wind turbine generators) of 2.1 MW each at Sidhpur site in Devbhoomi Dwarka”.

KP Energy Limited is Gujarat’s substantial balance of plant solutions provider to the Wind Industry involved, from formulating an approach to the implementation of a wind energy project.

The company is more than 200 MW capacity operationalised till today with 100% O&M under the scope.

The firm owns operational four wind energy assets having a capacity of 2.1 MW each.

The firm’s projects under implementation comprise 450.8 MW at various sites and the rest of the pipeline of 900 MW projects.
