Juniper Green Energy Signs 480 MW Hybrid RE Project PPAs with GUVNL and NTPC
This project marks the first hybrid initiative with GUVNL, featuring 190 MW of hybrid capacity (140 MW solar and 50 MW wind), and Juniper Green Energy’s largest hybrid project to date, in partnership with NTPC Limited, comprises 290 MW of hybrid capacity (210 MW solar and 80 MW wind) across Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Juniper Green Energy announce the signing of two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for hybrid renewable energy projects of total 480 MW of capacity.
Two major hybrid energy projects are making significant strides in India's renewable energy sector. One project, in collaboration with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), integrates 190 MW of solar and wind capacity, expected to generate 412 million units (MUs) of electricity annually. This initiative will notably offset 384,067 tonnes of CO2 emissions and supply clean energy to 82,016 households.
Another substantial effort involves Juniper Green Energy partnering with NTPC Limited to establish a 290 MW hybrid project across Gujarat and Rajasthan. This venture combines 210 MW of solar and 80 MW of wind capacity, aiming to produce 633 MUs of electricity per year. Alongside contributing to reducing carbon emissions by 590,810 tonnes annually, this project is set to power 126,165 households with sustainable energy solutions.
These initiatives highlight the growing momentum towards integrating diverse renewable energy sources to meet both environmental goals and the energy demands of communities across India.
