Juniper Green Energy Commissions its Maiden Wind Power Project

Juniper Green Energy has announced the commissioning of its maiden wind power project , contributing 70 MW to Gujarat's renewable energy capacity. Currently, 25.2 MW is operational as part of the project's progressive rollout.

Juniper Green Energy has announced the commissioning of its maiden wind power project , contributing 70 MW to Gujarat's renewable energy capacity.

'Currently, 25.2 MW is operational as part of the project's progressive rollout. The project has been commissioned in record time, almost 9 months before the Scheduled COD of the Project.

This project shall deliver power under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GUVNL at a tariff of INR 2.90, aligning with efforts to provide cost-effective and environmentally responsible energy solutions.

The project is expected to produce around 230 MUs of electricity per year, aiding in Gujarat's renewable energy efforts and reducing carbon emissions by an estimated 2,13,055 tonnes annually. This initiative will supply power to approximately 45,440 households, showcasing Juniper Green Energy’s role in promoting renewable energy adoption.

On the commissioning, Naresh Mansukhani, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, expressed his appreciation for the team's efforts: "The start of operations for our first wind power project and that too in record time  is a tribute to our team’s exceptional work. It's their perseverance and dedication to sustainability that have made this day possible.
