JSW MG Motor India Reports 8,018 Units, Expands EV Presence

JSW MG Motor India registered 19 percent Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) growth in September 2026 compared to the corresponding month last year, reporting 8,018 units in wholesales. The strong performance reflects sustained consumer interest in the company’s product portfolio, including the recently launched MG Hector Tomahawk EV and PHEV.

The company has also commenced dispatches of the MG Hector Tomahawk EV to dealerships across India, with customer deliveries now underway.

JSW MG Motor India is a joint venture between JSW Group and SAIC Motor, combining JSW Group’s presence in the Indian market with SAIC Motor’s automotive capabilities. The company focuses on vehicle manufacturing, technology, localisation and the development of its product portfolio and supply chain in India.

The company has introduced electric vehicles in the Indian market and has sold more than 1.5 lakh EVs since its first electric vehicle launch. Its EV portfolio includes the MG Windsor.
