Jindal Poly Films to Acquire Solar Encapsulation Film Manufacturer Enerlite
Gurugram-based Jindal Poly Films, a part of B.C. Jindal Group, has announced plans to acquire solar encapsulation film manufacturer Enerlite Solar Films India for an undisclosed sum.

Gurugram-based Jindal Poly Films has announced the acquisition of solar encapsulation film manufacturer Enerlite Solar Films India for an undisclosed sum.
“Presently, the target entity is an associate of the company and is holding 33.05 percent of paid-up equity share capital. After the completion of the acquisition, the target company would become a subsidiary of the company. The transaction is being done on an arm-length basis,” Jindal Poly Films said in a regulatory filing.
The indicative time period for the completion of the acquisition is six months. “The shares will be acquired for a lumpsum consideration mutually agreed. The consideration is not disclosed herein for reasons of confidentiality,” it said.
Incorporated on November 28, 2020, Enerlite Solar Films India is engaged in manufacturing high-quality solar encapsulation films which is used in solar PV modules. The company has reported a turnover of INR 28 crore (unaudited) In FY 25. In FY 24 and FY 23, it reported a turnover of INR 43.07 crore and INR 17.77 crore, respectively.
The company has stated that the strategic investment in the solar component manufacturing industry is in line with its long-term vision.
Jindal Poly Films is a part of the USD 2 billion B.C. Jindal Group which has been offering a wide range of products and solutions for more than 6 decades. The group is involved in diverse businesses including Polyester and Polypropylene films, Power generation, Cold Rolled Steel Strips, Galvanized Sheets, etc.
