The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has announced that it has issued a tender, seeking services of consultancy firms/agency for project management consultancy for the implementation of rooftop solar projects under RESCO Model on several government and private consumers building (with a total of 100 buildings/10 MW whichever is higher) across the state.
The scope of work for the selected firms will include the preparation of the pre-feasibility study reports, design and layout of the solar plants of all the sites as per MNRE/JREDA specifications including all civil, structural, electrical & other related work and to supervise the works till completion in all respect.
The firm will also support in competitive bid preparation, execution and selection of suitable RESCO developers, design suitable payment security mechanism and facilitate for Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between the concerned parties, identify opportunities for demand aggregation for the empanelment of RESCO developers in market mode along with carrying out capacity building and training of concerned stakeholders.

All bidders have to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 2 lakh along with their bids, however, MSE bidders are exempt from submitting any bids. The approximate value of the work under the tender is Rs 1 crore.
To be eligible, the firms should have a cumulative turnover of Rs 50 crore in last three financial years only for consultancy services. The net worth should also be positive. Additionally, the bidders must be having consultancy experience of at least 5 years in renewable energy works and should have done consultancy work of at least 50 MW capacity of solar energy projects.
