Diversified energy and infrastructure company Jakson Group has won a bid for comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for the 260 MW Bhadla Solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant located at Bhadla Solar Park in Rajasthan.
As per the contract, the company’s scope of work includes continuous monitoring of the site for all kinds of preventive and corrective maintenance issues including plant performance, and regular upkeep of various plant components and equipment, warranty claims, spare parts inventory and various other onsite ground services.
The company said that, it will commence the Operation and Maintenance services of the project from May 13, 2022, with the help of technologically advanced methods. This will generate employment opportunities and improve the livelihood of locals.
The solar plant, which is spread across 525.39 acres of the area, is comprised of 4 sections of 65 MW each. Initially, the project was installed and commissioned by Jakson Group along with Tata Power Solar and Vikram Solar, and was commissioned on March 25, 2017, and has been under commercial operation since then.
