Jaipur Set to Host its Largest Solar Summit ‘REconnect’ on May 30
With the theme 'On the Way to 500+ GW for the Indian RE Market', the REconnect Summit Jaipur will bring together leading voices in solar power – including C&I, residential segment and solar pumping systems under PM Kusum yojana, and energy storage systems, showcasing India's progress toward a sustainable energy future.

Adding to the occasion's prestige, Shankar Singh Khangarot, S. P. Rajasthan will be the Chief Guest at the event. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Goyal, Rtd. IAS Officer, Government of India and Abhijeet Sinha, Technocrat - Ease of Doing Business, Program Director - National Highways for Electric Vehicles (NHEV) and President - CPOs of India, and Ex-CAG Member, will be the Guests of Honour, emphasising the importance of advancing solar energy adoption via their keynote addresses.
The summit has garnered support from prominent industry players, including Luminous Power Technologies, Gautam Solar, Oswal Solar, Anand E-Beam Cables, Aatmanirbhar Solar, POM Power, Standard Skkytop Rise, SolarYaan, and Cosmic PV. Rajasthan Solar Association (RSA) is the industry association partner for the event.
The summit will feature a series of high-profile discussions, presentations, and networking opportunities, addressing critical themes such as solar PV manufacturing, regulatory frameworks, utility-scale solar market growth, commercial and industrial (C&I) and residential rooftop solar adoption, solarising agriculture, procuring solar power through open access captive and group captive model, co-locating battery energy storage system (BESS) with solar projects and energy storage adoption in Jaipur.
The discussions during the event will revolve around:
- Strengthening Rajasthan’s Solar Manufacturing Ecosystem, highlighting the role of local manufacturing in achieving India's sustainability goals.
- Expanding C&I, Residential & Agricultural Solar in Rajasthan, focusing on strategies to drive solar adoption in commercial and industrial (C&I), residential segment and solarising agriculture through solar pumping systems and feeder level solarisation.
- Solar + Energy Storage in Rajasthan, emphasising the role of energy storage systems for grid stabilisation, renewable energy integration and co-locating BESS in solar projects.
