Jain Irrigation Secures Order Worth INR 135 Cr for 5,438 Solar Water Pumps in Maharashtra
Jain Irrigation Systems has announced the receipt of a work order from the Chief Engineer from MSEDCL .The order pertains to the Design, Manufacture, Supply, Transport, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities.

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. has announced the receipt of a work order from the Chief Engineer (Special Project Department), Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL).
The order pertains to the Design, Manufacture, Supply, Transport, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities.
This empanelment under the PMKUSUM B Scheme, a flagship initiative aimed at promoting clean energy in agriculture. Under this initiative, Jain Irrigation will supply and set up 5,438 solar pumps in different districts of Maharashtra, with an overall project cost of INR 135 crore plus GST.
This allocation follows the successful execution of Phase I of the scheme, initiated in December 2024, during which Jain Irrigation installed 4,180 solar pumps valued at INR 103 crore plus GST.
