JA Solar Receives Top Brand PV 2022 Award

Beijing-based solar energy leader JA Solar has received the "Top Brand PV Chile 2022" and "Top Brand PV Mexico 2022" awards from EuPD Research, solidifying the company’s consistently highly recognized market performance in the Latin America region.

According to comprehensive surveys among photovoltaic installation companies and other end-users, EuPD Research, an internationally renowned research institute, awards the seal to best-in-class companies across the industry, focusing on brand awareness, customer choice and distribution.

The survey results provide valuable points of comparison for downstream customers engaged in module selection. In recent years, JA Solar has been awarded the Top PV Brand in Australia, Vietnam, MENA, Europe, and European countries including Germany, France, Poland, Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

Owing to the adoption of solar PV by the local energy-intensive industries and the implementation of carbon reduction policies, the Chilean photovoltaic industry has seen rapid growth in recent years. In 2021, Chile's National Energy Policy 2050 (PEN) stated a goal of 100 percent zero-emission energy by 2050, of which 80 percent renewable energy will be reached by 2030. 

Meanwhile, Mexico has committed to a goal of achieving 35 percent clean energy by 2024 and increasing that to 50 percent by 2050.
