A Solar Holdings Co., Ltd., one of the world's largest manufacturers of high-performance solar power products, announced that it has recently received JISQ 8901 Certification from TÜV Rheinland, complementing the JET and JPEC certifications JA Solar obtained in Japan previously.

The JIS Q 8901 standard aims to encourage the wider adoption of photovoltaic power generation in the Japanese market through an assurance system encompassing the design, production and product warranty of modules.

"Passing the stringent reviews and receiving the JIS Q 8901 certification is a further demonstration of the superior quality of JA Solar modules and customer service system," said Mr. Yong Liu, JA Solar's chief operating officer. "This certification gives our Japanese customers further assurance that JA Solar modules will deliver reliable performance and ensure the return on their investment. We anticipate our compliance with the standard will further strengthen our leadership position in the Japanese market."
