JA Solar, a solar power products manufacturer, has marked a significant milestone in its sustainability journey by completing Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) assessments for multiple product lines.
Conducted by the authoritative French institution Kapstan, these assessments have resulted in the registration of JA Solar's products on the EPD systems of Norway and Italy.
The completion of these assessments is a testament to JA Solar's contribution to eco-friendly design, carbon footprint reduction, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
EPD, based on the ISO14025 standard, is a type III environmental declaration rooted in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). It discloses the environmental impact of a product throughout its lifecycle, covering aspects such as raw material acquisition, production, transportation, consumption, and final disposal.
The achievement is particularly notable for the p-type series products and the entire n-type DeepBlue 4.0 Pro product line under JA Solar. These products have not only passed the EPD assessment in Norway and Italy but are also recognized for their low Global Warming Potential (GWP).
In 2022, JA Solar introduced the sustainable development concept of "Green to Green, Green to Grow, Green to Great," reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices.
