ITI Ltd. has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) for selection of executing agencies for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of solar PV power packs.
A solar power pack consists of three white LED luminary (one 3W and two each 5W and 7W), one DC ceiling fan 20W and a mobile charging plug point as per configuration along with solar PV modules and battery of given capacity, necessary control electronics – inter connecting wires/cables, module mounting structures etc.
Bidders need to pay INR 11,000 as an EoI document fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 75.88 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date of submission of bids is May 6, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on May 7, 2025.
The broad performance specifications for solar power pack systems laid down in the EoI document specifies that only indigenous PV modules shall be used, with each solar photovoltaic (SPV) module rated at 200 Wp at Standard Test Conditions (STC) and a minimum open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 21V.
The battery type specified is Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP), rated at 12.8 Volts and 80Ah.
The light source will consist of White Light Emitting Diode (W-LED) battens in 7-W, 5-W, and 3-W variants. The use of LEDs emitting ultraviolet light is strictly prohibited. The light output should be white in colour, with a colour temperature range between 5000°K to 6500°K, ensuring uniform illumination without dark bands or abrupt variations, and should be comfortable for the eyes.
The system will also include a 12.8 Volt operated DC ceiling fan with a power consumption of 20W (±5 percent), and a 25W DC power plug equipped with a mobile charging USB port.
The bidder must have, during the last five years, a cumulative experience of having installed at least 2,500 solar power packs or standalone solar systems prior to the bid submission date.
Alternatively, the bidder must have commissioned at least a cumulative of 2 MW on-grid/Off-grid/hybrid solar power plants during last five years.
The bidder must have a Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT) of INR 10 crore in the last three financial years. They must also have a positive net worth at the close of the preceding financial year.
