IREDA Strengthens Finance and Audit Leadership with Key Appointments
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has announced senior-level appointments to strengthen its financial management and corporate governance, with Tusarkant Parida joining as Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) and Jagdeep Singh assuming charge as General Manager (Finance & Accounts).

Tusarkant Parida has joined IREDA as Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), while Jagdeep Singh has assumed charge as General Manager (Finance & Accounts).
The Board of Directors in its meeting held on December 30, 2025 appointed Jagdeep Singh as Head of Internal Audit and Internal Auditor of the company. His tenure in the said post will be effective from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment follows the superannuation of A Chandrashekar, General Manager (Finance & Accounts), who was earlier heading the Internal Audit function.
Singh is a commerce graduate (Honours) from Delhi University and a Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India. He brings with him over 27 years of professional experience across both public and private sector organisations, including BSNL, Tata Communications, Airtel, Idea Cellular and Aircel.
Parida holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honours) from Utkal University and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). With over 24 years of experience, he has served organisations such as Power Finance Corporation, Corporation Bank, BSNL and SRB & Associates.
Welcoming the appointments, Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman and Managing Director (MD), IREDA, said, “These appointments reflect IREDA’s continued focus on strengthening financial discipline, highest standards of corporate governance and risk management. The experience and leadership brought in by these officers will further support the organisation’s growing role in financing India’s renewable energy transition.”
