IREDA Reports INR 33,148 Crore in Sanctions, Loan Book Reaches INR 84,445 Crore

IREDA’s H1 FY 2025-26 loan sanctions rose 86 percent to INR 33,148 crore, while its outstanding loan book grew 31 percent to INR 84,445 crore.

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) reported robust growth in the first half of FY 2025-26, with loan sanctions soaring 86 percent to INR 33,148 crore, up from INR 17,860 crore in H1 of the previous year.

As per the firm, loan disbursements rose 54 percent to INR 15,043 crore, compared to INR 9,787 crore during the same period last year. The company’s outstanding loan book expanded 31 percent to INR 84,445 crore as of September 30, 2025, against INR 64,564 crore a year earlier.

Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman and  Managing Director of IREDA, said, “The momentum achieved in the first half of this financial year underscores IREDA’s leadership in renewable energy financing. We aim to further scale support for clean energy projects in alignment with India’s green energy goals.”

He also acknowledged the guidance of the Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, the Minister of State, MNRE Secretary, the Board of Directors, and all stakeholders, while appreciating Team IREDA for their dedication in driving consistent growth.
