Invitation of Specifications & Guidelines for Rooftop Grid Connected Inverter from 1.0 - 500kWp

The Ministry is implementing a program on 'Grid Connected Rooftop and Small Solar Plants' under which MNRE is promoting Grid Connected Rooftop and Small Solar Plants by Providing incentive in the form of direct subsidy and related activities. The programme is being implemented by SNAs, SECI and Other PSUs beside the financial institutions and system integrators. The grid connected rooftop power plants consist of solar panel, solar inverters, metering arrangement, balance of the system including structure and equipment's for appropriate grid connectivity.

There is need for quality, standard and guidelines of inverters to be specified. In order to specify quality, Standards and Guidelines and to empanel manufactures, the proposals are invited from manufacturer/Integrators / suppliers of inverters specifically suitable for 'Grid Connected Rooftop and Small Solar Plants' for the various capacity ranges from 1.0 kWp to 500 kWp.
