Insolation Green Energy Secures INR 1,134 Crore IREDA Loan for Solar Cell Plant in Madhya Pradesh
Insolation Energy’s subsidiary Insolation Green Energy has secured INR 1,134 crore IREDA loan for INR 1,512 crore 4.5 GW solar cell plant in Madhya Pradesh, boosting backward integration, with ambitious capacity expansion plans through 2028.

Insolation Energy Ltd. has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Insolation Green Energy Pvt. Ltd., has secured a INR 1,134 crore loan from the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) to finance a new 4.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility at Mohasa Babai, Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh.
The project, with a total cost of INR 1,512 crore, will see the remaining INR 378 crore funded through internal accruals. The plant is part of the company’s broader backward integration strategy, aimed at strengthening the solar energy value chain.
Over the next two years, the group expects to reach 7 GW PV module capacity, 4.5 GW solar cell output, and 18,000 MTA aluminium frame production, with plans for 3 GW ingot and wafer manufacturing by 2028.
