Insolation Green Energy Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Insolation Energy Ltd. (INA), has performed the Bhoomi Pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) for the construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh.
The new plant, located at Plot No-P-4, Manufacturing Zone for Power and Renewable, Mohasa Babai, Makhan Nagar, will have a capacity of 4.5 GW for solar cell manufacturing and 18,000 MT for aluminium frame production. The company plans to invest approximately INR 1,600 crore in this project.
The Bhoomi Pujan was performed by the company’s Chairman and Whole Time Director Manish Gupta and Managing Director Vikas Jain, along with other senior dignitaries.
Spread over 45 acres, the facility is expected to create over 1,600 direct and indirect employment opportunities, thereby contributing to regional development and the renewable energy sector's growth.
This will be the group’s fourth manufacturing facility and its first outside Rajasthan.
Gupta said that the new facility will play a significant role in augmenting INA’s capacity in catering to the growing consumer demand across India.
Jain noted that this venture reflects the company’s confidence in the long-term future of the Indian Solar industry. “We are proud to partner with the state of Madhya Pradesh as we take this transformative step forward,” he added.
Recently, Insolation Energy commenced commercial operations of its new 3 GW PV Module manufacturing plant located at Delhi-Ajmer Expressway in Sawarda, Jaipur, Rajasthan. With this facility, the INA Group's total operational PV Module manufacturing capacity has reached 4 GW.
A leading solar panel manufacturer in India, Insolation Energy currently operates three manufacturing units.
