Indofast Energy has partnered with Bike Bazaar to deploy 5,000 electric two-wheelers across India over the next 18 months. The move is aimed at accelerating Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption and reducing the carbon footprint of the last-mile delivery operations, while empowering the nation's growing gig economy workforce with sustainable mobility solutions.

The large-scale rollout will transform delivery operations across key sectors such as quick commerce, e-commerce and food delivery. By expanding Indofast’s battery-swapping network to high-demand corridors and emerging geographies, this partnership will enable reduced downtime, lower operating costs and uninterrupted delivery operations for fleet operators.

Speaking about this collaboration, Rajat Malhan, Senior Vice President, Indofast Energy, said, “Our partnership with Bike Bazaar marks a pivotal moment in accelerating India’s transition to clean mobility. With Electric Vehicle (EV) sales having raced past a million units in the first half of calendar year 2025 alone, the momentum for electrification is undeniable. By deploying 5,000 electric two-wheelers and expanding our battery-swapping infrastructure, we are not only enabling cost-efficient and uninterrupted operations for delivery fleets, but also contributing significantly to reduce carbon emissions and foster a sustainable future.”

This collaboration between Indofast Energy and Bike Bazaar directly supports the goals set forth under the Automotive Mission Plan 2047 (AMP 2047) by driving large-scale EV adoption and sustainable mobility solutions across the country.

"We are excited to join hands with Indofast Energy, which will drive electric mobility deeper into India’s last-mile logistics ecosystem. As a leading fleet operator and mobility financier, our focus has always been on empowering gig economy workers with reliable, affordable and sustainable mobility solutions. This collaboration is a testament to our shared vision of creating a greener, smarter and more inclusive mobility future for India," said Karunakaran Vadakkepat, Co-Founder and Joint Managing Director, Bike Bazaar.
